Secured By Design

Aiming at reducing crime by improving security features, Secured By Design has been introduced into working practices. Supporting one of the Governments key planning objectives, Secured By Design can reduce burglary, crime and criminal damage.

Security tests, which exceed the standard security tests, are carried out on windows, locks, doors and cars, by Secured By Design, a non-profit organisation, to provide a higher level of security.

ACPO Crime Prevention Initiatives Limited runs the initiative, and is funded by companies whose products meet these standards, as identified by ACPO CPI.

In order to be accredited with the Secured By Design initiative and use their logo on products, ACPO CP10 have to give permission. This logo signifies that the product has passed the testing process, providing customers with peace of mind that their product is more secure to protect their cars, workplaces and homes.

Our Yale locking systems are approved and have been tested by Secure By Design, including a multi-point locking system and performance 6 pin cylinder.

Each door has an available Secured By Design upgrade, offering extra security to the standard glass.

Secured by Design Lock as Standard

No need to worry about security. Each door has a specialized lock created by Yale. The standard lock is the Yale G2000 multipoint, which is the latest in mechanical locks and has been tested to up to PAS24. Lever handles and Pad handle mechanisms can be installed upon request. For more security each cylinder has six regular pins and five anti-pick pins.
